What we collect

Information you send us. When you request an estimate, book a call, phone us, or email, we receive what you provide: your name, email address, phone number, property address, your role (seller, agent, homeowner, investor), timeline, and message. A form also sends us the web address of the page it was sent from, and records your IP address, the country it resolves to, and your browser type, which appear in the email we receive and help us screen out spam.
Where your visit started. On your first visit, the site saves a small record in your browser's local storage (named rs_src): the first page you landed on, with its full web address; the site that referred you; the date; a Google Ads click ID (gclid, gbraid, or wbraid) if you arrived from an ad; and any UTM campaign tags. It stays in your browser, and we use it for up to 90 days, after which your next visit replaces it. If you send us a form, this record goes with it and appears in the email we receive, next to the page the form was sent from, so we know how you found us. The site also remembers whether you chose Sell or Stay until you close the tab (session storage, named rs_intent).
Site analytics and cookies. This site runs Google Analytics 4. It sets first-party cookies in your browser (named _ga, and _ga_ followed by an ID) that last up to two years. Through it we see which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, the device and browser used, a general location such as the city (derived from your IP address, which Google Analytics does not store or show to us), and actions such as submitting a form, a form that could not be sent, tapping our phone number, or following a link to book a call or to one of the outside services listed below. The events themselves carry no names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
Contact details and Google. Separately, when you submit a form, the Google tag on this site may collect the email address, phone number, and address you entered and share them with Google in hashed form (encoded, not as plain text), so we can measure how well our advertising works.
Google Ads. If you reach the site from a Google ad, Google Ads sets a cookie (_gcl_aw) that lasts up to 90 days, so we can see whether a visit from an ad led to an inquiry.
Bot protection. Pages with a form load Cloudflare Turnstile. When you start filling in a form, it checks signals from your browser to tell people from automated traffic. It is not used for advertising.
Links to other services. If you follow a link to Google, Instagram, Calendly, or Notable (notablehome.com, linked from our seller pages), you leave this site, and those services set their own cookies under their own policies.

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, schedule a walkthrough, and prepare your estimate.
To contact you about your project by phone, text message, or email. By submitting a form you agree that Renovation Sells Dallas may contact you this way. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
To see which pages and ads lead people to contact us, and to improve the site, our advertising, and our services.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who else sees it

We use service providers to run the site and deliver messages, including Cloudflare (hosting, security, and the bot check on our forms), Resend (delivery of your form submission to our inbox), Google (Analytics and Google Ads), and Calendly (scheduling, if you book a call). They process data on our behalf under their own privacy commitments. We may also share information when required by law.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing justin@renovationsells.com or calling (469) 500-3602.

To limit analytics and ad measurement, block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Clearing this site's data also removes the rs_src record. The site works the same either way.

Children

The site is intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
